When owner, builder and architect all work exceptionally well together as a team, great things happen. This challenging project started with an abandoned house that was troubled with structural, aesthetic and functional problems.

But the owners had patience and shared our vision. Although the house was not torn down, as was suggested by some, almost no part of the building was left unaltered. We designed a completely new interior layout, made several aggressive structural changes and repairs, and designed expressive exterior detailing more appropriate for the proportions of this home.
